Building on the awareness around G – Star’s global campaign #howyouwearyours, there was an opportunity to bring focus on a local level. We were able to utilize brand ambassador and UK rapper Little Simz to showcase the brand’s dedication to being collaborative, creative, experimental and social.
Little Simz toured Australia nationally in February 2016 and we created an intimate and immersive experience called G – Star In Conversation with Little Simz. Media, industry and fans of her music were invited to listen to a live Q&A of her talking through her inspirations and what the future holds.
Treading her own path and shunning offers from big time record labels, Little Simz isn’t your average artist. Talking to the crowd about her process, it’s evident she will continue to do things her way and not let brands dictate her journey. In support of her creative process, G – Star has given her a platform to freely discuss her craft and inspire a new crop of talent.
